About the Qualification – RII40220

This qualification reflects the role of individuals, including open cut examiners (OCE), working in surface coal mines, who perform tasks involving a broad range of day-to-day, operational activities in their area of responsibility.

They are responsible for ensuring a safe work environment through applying the safety and health management system in and around work areas of surface excavation, including monitoring the quantity and quality of output, supervising others and applying solutions to non-routine problems.

Packaging Rules  – 14 units consisting of 10 Core and 4 Electives

Core Units – All Core units must be completed and cannot be changed.
