About the Course
This course provides skills and knowledge required to conduct surface shotfiring operations in the Mining, Drilling and Civil Infrastructure sector.
This course is designed for those:
- Working in operational roles in Drill and Blast
- Persons wishing to obtain a Restricted Shotfirer licence in most Australian states/territories (see below)
- Persons wishing to hold a statutory position and be appointed Shotfirer to be written into the mine record. Most operations and regulators require person to have a Shotfiring license in order to be appointed.
